Privacy Policy
Kickoff (the “App”) is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what we do — and mostly do not — collect. The App has no accounts and no sign-up.
Information we do not collect
We do not require an account and do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or advertising identifiers. We do not sell personal data, and the App contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Information stored on your device
Your preferences and match reminders are stored only on your device (and scheduled with Apple’s local notifications). They are not transmitted to us. Deleting the App removes them.
Technical data we process
When the App requests data, our backend — hosted on Cloudflare — processes your IP address transiently to deliver responses, prevent abuse and rate-limit traffic. We do not use it to build user profiles, and it is not retained beyond standard short-term operational logs.
Subscriptions
Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. Apple provides us with anonymous, aggregate subscription status only.
Third-party services
The App relies on: Apple (App Store, in-app purchases, notifications), Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery), and a third-party sports-data provider. Their handling of any data is governed by their own privacy policies.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
Because we do not hold personal information about you, there is little to access or delete on our side. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings, and uninstalling the App removes all on-device data.
Changes
We may update this policy; changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
